Research
We Are Red: The Story of the Red River Resistance is a heavily researched effort. Every step of the way there has been much time spent in tracking down primary and secondary sources of the people and events that compose the story of the Red River Resistance. I thought I’d use this website to share some of the various primary and secondary sources I’ve found during the course of my investigation and research. While these sources are no doubt biased, and the accuracy is not necessarily verified at this stage in my investigative process, you may find these sources somewhat enlightening.
Below, I’ve listed the secondary sources that are currently available online and what they cover.
As of February 2010 a few sources are down as they are being updated with new information and will return shortly, along with new research postings.
- Red River Crossing (Returning soon.)
- Baconation – An introduction to Canadian Steve.
- Son of Science – The origins of Nathan Nolte.
- Thundering Dawn – Canada responds. (Coming soon!)
- The Northern Noose – The occupation begins. (Coming soon!)
There’s also some primary sources:
- Fegley Dispatches - Kyle Fegley’s Field Reports Part I – Sault Ste. Marie (This will be back online soon.)
